Ways to style a Pareo

Ways to style a Pareo

Hermoza Pareos come in four fabulous prints and are the perfect versatile piece to add to your wardrobe. Oh! and did we mention… they are made from luxurious and light weight 100% WASHABLE silk. Yes, you heard that correctly, washable silk.

The traditional way to style a Pareo is to simply wrap around the waist as a chic coverage option. This is a perfect cover-up option and the perfect addition to any Hermoza suit.

Here are a few more ways to style your Pareo this Summer:

1. Halter-Style Top
Simply extend the full length of your Pareo behind your back while holding the top ends, bring those two ends forward under each arm, and then cross the ends across your chest until you can tie the ends around your neck.
You can wear this style as a cover-up for your suit or as a sleek and stylish top with a pair of denim shorts or white pants.

2. Bag Accessory
Upgrade your favorite beach bag, tote, or purse by tying your Pareo in a simple bow knot around one handle.

3. Hair Scarf
Hair accessories are one of the season’s top trends. Fold your Pareo across ‘bandana style’ once or twice, depending on your preferred length and coverage, place the edge along the hairline, and tie remaining ends underneath your hair at the nape of your neck.

4. Hat Accessory
Add some color and texture to your wide-brim beach hats. Roll or wrap the Pareo until all of the fabric lines up end-to-end and then tie a simple knot around the hat base.

5. Shawl
The luxurious silk fabric makes our Pareo the perfect shawl to shield your sun-kissed skin from those chilly night breezes. Simply drape the fabric around your shoulders to top off your glamourous dinner look.
