The Perfect Holiday Recipes for Your Next Christmas Party

The Perfect Holiday Recipes for Your Next Christmas Party

December is here and we have entered the coziest time of year. From covering ourselves in fuzzy blankets, decorating with white lights, making hot tea or hot toddies, wearing the chicest of pajamas, and wearing comfy slippers, these 31 days are sentimental for all ages young and old.

The season is about giving and no better way to give than of your time. Bringing people together is one of our favorite things to do, and here are some of Hermoza’s favorite recipes and recommendations.

Christmas Tree Drinks Recipe:

If you haven’t seen these recipes all over TikTok or Instagram lately, we a pleased to introduce you to this fun take on a typical cocktail! Christmas tree drinks start with filling a glass with ice and tasty garnishes (such as rosemary and cranberries). From there, you can fill an empty ornament with your favorite mixed drink (for this recipe, we can recommend using cranberry, raspberry juice with your favorite vodka). The fun of this drink is in the presentation. Leave the ornament on the glass and watch your friends and family pour your delicious concoction over ice. Everyone will love your creative arrangement, and this is the perfect way to get the holiday party started!

Sourdough Bread Recipe:

Although we recommend just about anything made by the Food Nanny, this sourdough recipe is by far our favorite! If you’ve ever been on the hunt for the perfect blend of a sour, savory, crunchy bread loaf, this is it. It’s one of the go-to recipes when we host our family and friends. It’s easily been the best recommendation on our list because who doesn’t want a homemade loaf for the family when celebrating during the holidays.

Stuffing Recipe:

Who doesn’t like stuffing when sitting down at the table during Christmas time? If there’s one thing your company can agree one, it’s that stuffing holds the best place on the table. A good stuffing may not be easy to find, but we think this recipe takes the cake.  Hints of sausage and ciabatta in perfect melody will make for the yummiest Italian inspired dish. Enjoy the tango of rosemary and sage with the right amount of chicken (or turkey) and all the veggies!

Christmas Gnome Bread Loaf:

If you decide this holiday season to be a little more creative when baking, we have a fun recipe everyone will love! Again, we turn to TikTok for the latest and greatest trends. That’s where this Christmas Gnome was brought to life by @cottageloaves. She describes herself as a Sourdough Bread Artist (rightfully so) and she notes the entire recipe on her Instagram found here. If you’re daring enough to attempt this decorative sourdough, we think this will be the most delicious and beautiful centerpiece at the table this Christmas!

Christmas Manhattan Cocktail Recipe:

Warming up this Christmas season is easy when you have the warmth of this classic Manhattan with a holiday twist. For those who love this iconic cocktail, adding a dash of Christmas syrup (orange, clove, cinnamon, allspice infusion) will spark joy in everyone. Mulling with Christmas vermouth and garnishing with a cinnamon stick will have you fa-la-la-ing all evening long. A Christmas Manhattan is going to keep your bartender’s hands full and keep your party guests as happy as can be.

Sugar Cookie Martini Recipe:

For those who want something a little sweeter, offering your guests this Sugar Cookie Martini will do the trick! A sugary blast of vanilla vodka, Irish cream, and powdered sugar paired with a vanilla frosting rim and sprinkles will be the best combo on a cozy night like tonight. Not only will this drink taste like Christmas in a glass, but it will also look like Santa himself mixed it. This drinkable, boozy sugar cookie is going to be the best part of the night!

Eggnog Pudding Recipe:

No, we did not forget dessert! The best way to conclude the evening is going to be with this eggnog pudding recipe. Using fresh eggnog in your eggnog pudding will be a must (so for this step we recommend trying Hermoza’s Homemade Eggnog which can be found here)! Blends of sugar, nutmeg, and vanilla will dance on your tongue and leave you wanting more. Making your eggnog from scratch is going to be that extra step you desire when perfecting your dinner party menu. Leave a little extra eggnog for those who cannot resist its taste with Christmas dinner.

Hot Cocoa Cookies Recipe:

Is it even Christmas if hot cocoa isn’t involved? One of the earliest Christmas memories we have is walking around the neighborhood drinking hot cocoa while admiring the bright holiday lights. Bring home the memories with these rich cocoa cookies inspired by everyone’s favorite holiday drink in this perfect recipe. The perfect balance of chewy marshmallow, melted, dark chocolate, and sweet cookie bites will have everyone’s mouthwatering for more. If you happen to have a Christmas cookie exchange party (everybody’s fav party) coming up, these would be a big hit to share with your friends.

And that concludes some of our favorite holiday recipes that are going to be show stopping for your next Christmas party or an easy, family dinner during the holiday season. We’d love to see your take on these delicious plates! Don’t forget to share and tag us if you use any of these recommendations and we hope you have a holly, jolly Christmas!

Besos,
