Can you move in it? Sit comfortably in it? Chase your kids down the beach? Walk to lunch without adjusting it every five minutes? And, most importantly, do you actually feel like yourself in it?

Those were the kinds of questions behind Hermoza from the very beginning.

It Started With a Better Idea for Swimwear

Founders Tiffany and Marisa knew there was something missing in swimwear.

They wanted pieces that felt sophisticated and feminine without showing more than they wanted to. Suits that were beautifully made, supportive, comfortable, and actually suited to full days spent by the water.

Tiffany brought her Southern roots and the perspective of a mother who spent summers with her family on the beaches of Florida's panhandle. Marisa brought her Latin heritage, a love of fashion, and an appreciation for the elegance of a beautifully cut one-piece swimsuit.

Southern class met Latin sophistication, and Hermoza found its point of view.

Beautiful, yes. But never just for looking at.

Coverage That Still Feels Beautiful

Somewhere along the way, coverage got a reputation for being the practical choice.

We don't really buy that.

At Hermoza, coverage is considered from the beginning, right alongside the neckline, fabric, proportions, and all the little details that make a suit feel special.

We don't think support should be something you spend the whole day noticing.

Ideally, it's the reason you stop noticing your swimsuit altogether.

It's the wider strap that sits comfortably on your shoulder. A neckline that stays put when you bend down. Built-in support where a style needs it. A waist that feels secure without feeling restrictive.

Different women want different things from their swimwear, so our suits aren't designed to all fit exactly the same.

Some women love a structured square neckline. Others want a high neck. Some are looking for extra bust support, while others want smoothing through the waist or more coverage through the back.

The goal isn't one suit for everyone.

We love a lounge chair. Preferably somewhere sunny with something cold nearby.

But that's not the only place our swimwear needs to work.

Real beach days involve movement.

You're swimming. Walking down the beach. Getting on a boat. Picking up a toddler. Playing with your kids in the pool. Going back for the bag you somehow left fifty yards away.

Then someone decides they're hungry, and suddenly you're throwing on one of your favorite cover-ups and heading straight to lunch.

That's the day we're designing for.

We want you thinking about where you're going next, not whether your suit is still sitting exactly where you left it.

It's All in the Details

Practical doesn't have to look practical.

Actually, we'd rather it didn't.

A belt that defines the waist. A beautiful square neckline. A tiny ruffle along a strap. Gold hardware. An unexpected texture. A reversible design. A tie placed exactly where it makes the silhouette more flattering.

None of those details are necessary for a swimsuit to technically do its job.

But they're often the reason you fall in love with it.

We want our pieces to feel feminine and distinctive without becoming overly complicated. The kind of design you notice when you first put it on, but that never overwhelms the woman wearing it.

After all, the suit should never be the whole story.

Tiffany's Southern roots bring a love of classic, effortless elegance. Marisa's Colombian and Mexican heritage brings color, femininity, and a distinctly Latin point of view.

We don't really think of swimwear as something that exists only at the water's edge.

A great one-piece can become the base of an outfit. Add airy pants, an oversized shirt, or a beautiful pareo, and suddenly you're dressed for lunch.
