Off the western coastline of Italy is the ultimate luxury vacation spot. The little isle of Capri is the perfect combination of Italian culture and seaside living. All of Capri welcomes travelers to slow down and relish the island's numerous wonders spread out under the warm Mediterranean sun and wrapped in the lavish island landscape. Just a few miles from the Peninsula of Sorrento, this tiny island is one of the most favored tourist destinations on the planet, treasured for its significantly rugged shores, its ocean grottos hidden away in cliffs, and the glamorous yet intimate feel of its island villages. While Capri is just 4 square miles, there is no shortage of things to do from world-class shopping, upscale hotels and yacht-filled waters, just to name a few. Below is a list of every must-see for your anticipated Italian getaway.Â
Â
When finding a location to stay, Capri has two metropolitan areas to choose from: Capri Town and Anacapri. Capri town, on the more cosmopolitan side of the island, is home to the iconic Piazzetta di Capri and Via Camerelle. This famed square and road offers far-reaching views and is lined with contemporary cafés and bars, luxury hotels, high-end boutiques, and nightclubs. To reach the Piazzetta, you must table a mountainside cable car from the Marina Grande. This sea level port is home to the largest beach on the island. And where will you find us, you ask? Sipping a sweet Limoncello at a café in our Betty Wrap Shirt and Joslyn Linen pant in Ditsy, the perfect summer uniform.

On the other side of the island, Anacapri has a more quiet, laid-back atmosphere with far less crowding. Both of these towns boast splendid views of the island as well as the blue waters in the Bay of Naples. However, Anacapriâs highest point at Monte Solaro is especially breathtaking. Another delight on this side of the island is some of Italyâs most beautiful gardens, such as Villa San Michele. If you are in search of some serenity, be sure to spend some time promenading in this flower-filled landscape while wearing your picturesque Asha Linen Dress. Anacapri also offers various walking and hiking trails where you can discover the wild and scenic countryside and coastline.Â
One of the best ways you can get around this island is by scooter. With so much to see, renting a scooter can be the perfect solution for visitors who prefer not to walk or take public transportation, or if they just do not have as much time. This method of travel gives you the freedom to move around the island and stop and go while sightseeing as you please. Not to mention, itâs easy and comfortable to drive so you can breeze through town wearing your Josette Smocked Mermaid Skirt and matching Betty Wrap Shirt in Black. Ride along the scenic Provincial Highway Capri to see the Punta Carena lighthouse, ancient ruins, historical monuments, and churches. Many times, exploring on a scooter can be much more effective than by taxi or foot, but we will leave that up to you.

When it comes to shopping, there is something for everyone here. As a destination for the rich and famous, Capri town offers a multitude of high-end fashion boutiques. Make your way along Via Camerelle in your Mari Dress in Blush and you will find that just about every fashion house has its own shop. If you are more interested in shopping for local products, you will find a wide array of goods at Viale Axel Munthe in Anacapri. Here, the local artisans offer specialized clothing and crafted goods in their shops and showrooms. Embrace your inner Jackie O and pick up a special pair of handmade sandals at a Capri cobbler shop!
Â
If you have time, dedicate a day of your trip spent on a boat. You cannot fully appreciate the Bay of Naples until you glide through with your hand stretched out grazing the gorgeous blue waters. With your favorite Hermoza swimsuit on, you can take a tour or rent your own boat to explore around the island. A must- see is Grotta Azzurra, or the Blue Grotto. Here you can hop aboard a wooden rowboat and venture into a dark, cavern with crystalline blue water. This natural sea cave is one of the 7 natural wonders of the world and you simply cannot miss it while youâre here.

Before you leave this dreamy island, you must stop for some of Italyâs best gelato at Buonocore in Capri town. This creamy and refreshing dessert is an all-time favorite, you may even have to go back a few times. As if Capri isnât enough of a treat!
