Design Story

Renowned interior stylist, publicist, and mother of seven, Jenny Reimold, has always held a deep connection to the Gulf Coast of Florida, where she grew up. Following her husband's retirement from Major League Baseball, Jenny moved back to her quaint coastal hometown of Crystal Beach to raise her family.

With a career highlighted by features in People, Southern Living, Architectural Digest, and HGTV, Jenny has built a reputation for her candid takes on family life, fashion, and design. Among her many passions, reviewing swimsuits for active women stands out, and she has consistently championed Hermoza, a brand celebrated for its timeless silhouettes and shapewear-infused designs.

The Birth of a Collaboration

Hermoza, a luxury swimsuit line founded by Tiffany Rivers—mother of ten and wife of NFL quarterback Philip Rivers—and Marisa de Lecce, an international business expert and mother, has gained recognition from Oprah, Glamour, NBC, and TIME. Their swimsuits are known for their performance fabrics that modestly shape and slim while providing full coverage.

Jenny's journey with Hermoza began when she purchased her first swimsuit from the brand. Drawn to their story and inspired by shared experiences in professional sports, large families, and a love for female-founded brands, Jenny reached out to Hermoza. This initial connection blossomed into an informal collaboration, with Jenny's popular reviews on fit, color, and style paving the way for her first formal design project. Inspired by the coastal colors of her hometown, particularly Honeymoon Island and Three Rooker Sandbar, Jenny launched her first swim collection.

Diverse and Authentic Models

For the photoshoot, Jenny chose to represent a variety of body shapes, sizes, and ethnicities, sourcing models from her own circle of friends and family:

  • Deja Hampshire, an Army wife and mother of four, flew in from Hawaii to showcase her curves and quickly became a fan favorite on Jenny's social media.
  • Grace Porter, the eldest of Jenny's seven children, recently graduated with a BA in Advertising/Public Relations.
  • Dierdre Reimold, Jenny's sister-in-law, is a professional model with work featured in Spanx campaigns, Cosmo, and Elle, and has appeared in The Wolf of Wall Street and The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
  • Emilie Beining, an HSN host and plus-size fit model, is a mother and wife of a sheriff’s department first responder.

The makeup for the collaboration was expertly done by Stephanie Ruiz, a Cuban makeup artist known for her work with Sports Illustrated Swim, Victoria’s Secret, MTV’s Siesta Key, and at NY Fashion Week for brands like Nike and Coach.

The Collection

Jenny actively engaged her Instagram community throughout every phase of the design process, ensuring the collection catered to the active woman. The collaboration with Hermoza resulted in six swimsuits and two cover-ups, with expanded sizing to include plus sizes. Many pieces were named after Jenny’s daughters, reflecting personal touches and familial inspiration.

This collaboration between Jenny Reimold and Hermoza stands as a testament to the power of shared values and the beauty of coastal inspiration, bringing to life a swimwear collection that celebrates diversity, elegance, and functionality.
